چکیده
Following a meal, series of physiological changes occurs in fish as they digest, absorb and assimilate ingested nutrients. This study aims to assess post-prandial free amino acid (FAA) activity gilthead sea bream consuming partial marine protein (fishmeal) replacement. Sea were fed diets where 16 27% the fishmeal was replaced by plant protein. The essential (EAA) composition white muscle, liver gut strongly correlated with EAA 16% replacement diet compared diet. mean FAA concentration muscle changed at 4 8 h after meal not different pre-feeding (0 h) 24 feeding. It confirmed this that meets needs bream. Biochemical Changes in Gilthead Sea - Bream White Muscle Dur - ing Post - Larval Growth
In the present paper we present results of an investigation of the myofibrillar composition and pyruvate kinase (PK) activity in the white portion of lateral muscle of gilthead sea bream fed a commercial diet for five months during juvenile growth. The zinc and copper content of muscle and liver were also measured. Myofibrillar proteins extracted from the white muscle were mostly constituted by...

In teleost fish, as in other vertebrates, calcium is of key importance for numerous physiological processes. The skeleton of vertebrates consists mainly of calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate. It serves an important role as it determines body shape, protective aspects (scales, bone plates) and as a buffer internal reservoir for calcium and phosphorus. In teleosts, ~99% of the whole-body cal...

The influence of arginine vasotocin (AVT) on osmoregulation and metabolism in gilthead sea bream Sparus auratus was evaluated by two experimental approaches. In the first, seawater (SW, 36 ppt)-acclimatized fish were injected intraperitoneally with vehicle (vegetable oil) or two doses of AVT (0.5 and 1 microg/g body weight). Twenty-four hours later, eight fish from each group were sampled; the ...

Understanding the control of piscine fatty acid metabolism is important for determining the nutritional requirements of fish, and hence for the production of optimal aquaculture diets. The regulation and expression of carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 (CPT1; EC No 2.3.1.21) are critical processes in the control fatty acid metabolism, and here we report a cDNA from gilthead sea bream (Sparus aura...
متن کاملFatty Acid Composition of Gilthead Sea Bream (Sparus aurata) Fillets as Affected by Current Changes in Aquafeed Formulation
The aquafeed industry is facing the lack of availability of fish meal and oil. The need of an economic and environmental sustainability has increased the use of plant-derived oils. In order to provide an overview of which ingredients are the most frequently used in GSB diet and as they affect the lipid composition of aquafeeds, we analyzed 26 feed samples collected from farmers. At the same tim...
